Greetings all!
I am your Headmistress, Caelyn Michaels. I hereby welcome you to Moon Lake High School, a roleplay board where you attend high school as any other student. However, this high school is unlike any other, you see.
This high school is inhabited by supernatural creatures, such as vampires, werewolves, shapeshifters, half-human creatures, elves, fairies, demons, merfolk, etc.
As this is a new board, you will all start out as freshmen, who are of two categories: whether you have parents who graduated from Moon Lake High and know about the supernatural world or you are completely new. If your character is new, he or she will have no idea about the supernatural world until they enter this school.
Let me give you a background on the different Clans that make up Moon Lake High, now that we have established somewhat of an idea what this RPG is all about.
Redwing: the Redwings are your blood-sucking creatures, mainly vampires.
Silverback: the Silverbacks are the shapeshifters and weres of any kind (though weres are generally mammals and avians). Hellhounds are included in this category, though some are sent to the Blacktooth clan.
Greenplant: the Greenplants are the nature-loving creatures, like elves, fairies, pixies, etc. They normally are peaceful and don't cause much turmoil, unless you tick them off, of course.
Blacktooth: the Blacktooths are the demonic creatures. Demons are in this category mainly and they generally have a demonic entity inside them. It is up to the student if they want to fight it or give in.
Bluesky: the Bluesky members are the half-human, half-animal breeds, especially on the physical level. In the past, they were experiments and were ugly and deformed. Please be reasonable with your character if you are sorted into the Bluesky clan. If you have any issues, please send me a message.
Purplesmoke: the Purplesmokes are the magic-users. Witches, wizards, warlocks, etc are found here.
Rainbow: Finally, we have the Rainbow clan. Rainbow is a clan where the student doesn't fit in any of the above-mentioned clans. Cupids is an example I can give you, since cupids don't belong in any other clans mentioned. There probably won't be many Rainbow students but we'll see how registration goes.
Now, the RPG will take place in the present year, 2012. Technology will be allowed in the school as long as they are kept in your dorm rooms during class hours. More will be explained in the rules topic.
